Shraddha Pai is a singer-songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer. Her repertoire spans cross-cultural genres, including classic jazz and swing, Bollywood, and Paris Café, among others. Growing up in the Middle East, India, and Canada, she was immersed in a rich tapestry of musical traditions, languages, and cultures—an influence that shines through in her effortless international repertoire.

Shraddha leads the jazz band, “Shraddha Pai & The Prismaticks”, which combines a love of classic jazz with a cosmopolitan and escapist spirit. Their debut EP, “Into the Moonlight”, released in March 2025, has been featured on CBC’s Saturday Night Jazz, Jazz 91 FM, and NPR radio, and was #11 on the Earshot national jazz radio charts (October 2025). The Prismaticks have performed at Toronto venues such as Drom Taberna, Cameron House, and Reid’s Distillery, at Swing Toronto’s Saturday Night Swing, and were featured at the Spadina Museum Roaring ‘20s Garden Party (2025). The Prismaticks features a top-notch backing band of Toronto-based jazz musicians.

A dynamic live performer, Shraddha’s style has alternately been described as versatile, confident, and “elegant, sincere, and just beautiful”. Ranging from silken smooth to brassy, Shraddha’s voice has a classic quality reminiscent of the Jazz Era. Her ability to bring authenticity and emotional depth to her performances allows her to form a deep connection with audiences, whether through a sultry Brazilian Samba, a jump Blues tune, or a Bollywood Boogie.

Shraddha is also an established vocalist in the Indian community in the GTA. In 2024, she gained recognition as the 1st runner-up in the prestigious Panorama Idol vocal contest,  further solidifying her reputation as a rising talent. Shraddha has performed at venues such as Nathan Philips Square for India Day, and at the Toronto Pavilion with the high-energy Bollywood band, “The Culture Criminals”.

Based in Toronto, Canada, Shraddha continues to explore and blend musical genres, celebrating the universal language of music with every performance.
